Knowing and understanding our court systems and the differences between the civil and criminal process is vital for anyone involved in enforcing the law, rules and regulations and those in charge of arrests, detentions or prosecutions of those accused of violating the law.

The course curriculum provides more than the basic knowledge of how the Criminal Justice system works as well as how local, state and federal laws are written and approved.

Students will be able to apply this skill in the public safety and private security fields or as an employee, supervisor, manager, owner of a business or as an everyday citizen.

Completion of this program will assist the student to further their career in public safety or security as well as equip the student with in-depth knowledge of our legal system

This course may also be included as part of the core curriculum for other diploma or degree programs.
