Typical Tasks
Specific tasks typically required of a legal secretary has changed over the years beyond the typical typing, clerical and filing
duties. As an integral part of any legal team, the legal secretary coordinates, organizes and maintains much of what occurs within the office including scheduling, document preparation and time management of appointments and staff.

Legal secretaries are widely used in private practice law firms, county and state prosecutor’s offices and have become a vital part of any legal team.
