This program will prepare both the seasoned and entry level person to advance to a supervisory role within a correctional facility, county detention center or private prison.

The course will cover eight modules including:

state and federal employment law
supervisory duties
good management practices
employee stress management
employee discipline
documentation and advanced report writing skills
training and management of personnel
correctional environments, trauma and PTSD
