There are several programs that may be available to you depending on certain criteria.
Armour Schools do participate in The Yellow Ribbon GI Education Enhancement Program and the Community Back to Work Program as well as accepting scholarships from several other programs.
In addition, several other scholarships and financial aid services may be available for full or part time students.
Armour Schools are a proud participant of the Yellow Ribbon GI Education Enhancement Program (Yellow Ribbon Program), a provision of the Post 9/11 Veterans Educational Assistance Act of 2008. The Program enables institutions of higher learning to enter into an agreement with the Veterans Administration (VA) to provide tuition assistance for expenses that exceed the highest public in-state tuition rate (for online programs and campus-based programs the maximum allowable tuition is $529.50 per credit hour). Eligible veterans can accept these benefits to further their own education, or they can transfer their benefits to their spouses and/or dependents.
The Yellow Ribbon Program enables private schools to provide undergraduate and graduate-level education to soldiers who served after 9/11 by making tuition costs competitive with other schools.
Yellow Ribbon Program Tuition Benefits
Tuition varies by degree, so total credit hours earned under tuition benefit vary as well.
Veterans need to contact a VA representative to determine the education benefits he/she is eligible for.
