Degree & Certificate Requirements
Students meet with and are advised by their program advisor to plan and schedule classes. Many classes are sequential, have prerequisites, and/or may only be offered once a year. A schedule of course offerings can be obtained from program advisors. It is estimated a full-time student can complete the Chaplain program in two to four quarters .Because not all courses are offered every quarter, completion times may vary depending on which quarter the student first enrolls.
Students may apply for an Associate of Chaplain Services degree or an Bachelor of Chaplain Services degree. Transfer degree or a certificate upon completion and verification of all requirements and standards. In order to earn a degree or certificate, students must maintain a 2.0 grade point average with no course grade below (2.0).
Program Outcomes: Graduates of our Chaplain Program will be able to demonstrate with 90 percent accuracy effective skills and techniques as well as the overall roll, authority, duties and responsibilities of a professional-skilled emergency chaplain.
